There will be a special and important Seminole Manor Neighborhood Meeting on Tuesday, January 17 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at the Tallahassee Museum of History and Natural Science. The meeting will be held in their Visitors Center Meeting Room.
The primary purpose of this meeting is to discuss crime prevention efforts in Seminole Manor in response to numerous burglaries. We want to discuss things we can do immediately and gather additional ideas about future efforts. We will also be discussing other neighborhood matters including common area clean-up/beautification and neighborhood communications.
There will be an agenda for this meeting, and every effort will be made to stay on task so that we walk away with something very tangible and action-oriented.
Please try to attend if possible. These problems won’t go away on their own, and we need as many people as possible to take an active role.
For those of you who don’t know, the Tallahassee Museum is located about 1.5 miles south of Seminole Manor. From Seminole Manor, travel south on Rankin Avenue for about 1 mile. Cross over Orange Avenue and continue south for another .5 mile. Rankin essentially ends at the Museum’s front door. There is ample parking. If transportation is a problem, please let Jeff know. Send email messages to seminolemanorNA (at) gmail (dot) com.
